Itinerary
October 4 & 5 — USA to Tel Aviv, Israel
Your pilgrimage begins as you depart on your international flight. Flights and transfers are not included. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
October 6 — Jerusalem
Stand atop the Mount of Olives and enjoy a remarkable view of Jerusalem. Walk the Palm Sunday Road down the Mount of Olives, pray in the Garden of Gethsemane, view the Pool of Bethesda, sing a hymn in the Church of St. Anne, and visit Herod’s Antonia Fortress, where Jesus appeared before Pontius Pilate. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
October 7 — Jerusalem
Visit the Jerusalem Archaeological Park, including the Southern Wall Excavations. During the course of the day, the tour plans to show participants one of the bomb shelters constructed and given to the nation of Israel through the Jerusalem Prayer Team ministry.
October 8 — Western Wall Tunnels, Yad Vashem / Garden Tomb
Walk through the Rabbi’s Tunnel, where there is stonework from the Second Temple Period. Pray alongside the Jewish faithful at the Western Wall. Visit the museum and grounds of Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust Memorial. Then reflect on the agony of the cross at Gordon’s Calvary and the reality of the resurrection at the Garden Tomb. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
October 9 — Jordan Valley and Galilee
Leave Jerusalem and begin the journey to Galilee. Drive past the outskirts of Jericho, stop at Beit She’an, enjoy a St. Peter’s fish lunch, travel to Capernaum, visit the synagogue that stands on the site where Jesus taught, and visit the Mount of Beatitudes overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Check in to your hotel in Galilee for dinner and overnight.
October 10 — Galilee
Open the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Stop at Nof Ginosar, walk the streets of Chorazim, continue to Tel Dan, journey to Caesarea Philippi, and travel through the Golan Heights to better understand its strategic importance to Israel’s security. Return to your hotel in Galilee for dinner and overnight.
October 11 — Nazareth / Mount Carmel / Megiddo / Caesarea
Follow an ancient caravan route through the Jezreel Valley to Tel Megiddo. View Mount Carmel and recall Elijah’s victory over the prophets of Baal. Travel to Caesarea by the Sea on the Mediterranean coastline, where Cornelius and his household were saved and baptized, and where Paul made his defense before Festus and King Agrippa. Check in to your hotel in Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.
October 12 — Return Home
Return home with a transformed faith and memories to last a lifetime.
